Happy Fall–it is time to make Christmas cards! 😉 Ok, I am certainly one to not skip the holidays, but I also realize that some people like a little time to work on their cards, so in response, I give you HOW to make QUICK Christmas Cards!! I have several ideas for you–the video shows the cutest one 😉 and I have some fantastic tips!!
I am in love with this stinkin cute Santa! It is so cute and easy and with a couple of little touches, this simple card packs a big punch!!
First tip in Christmas Card making: Keep it simple! Too many layers, too much intricate cutting, and too much embellishment takes away from the card. Here I have a basic card layout: 1/s sheet of Red Cardstock with a 2" strip of DSP. I've added a 2 1/2" circle punched from Red Glimmer paper–that is my main embellishment. The final touch is a my fav: A white pom-pom trim. SO dang cute!
A couple of more details: using the Clasic Label punch for the greeting, and then the fun "surprise inside" card ***Need to add a pic of this tomorrow! 🙂 *****

The next card I have made is from the Star of Light Stamp Set. This set is just gorgeous and has some beeautiful sentiments to go along with a variety of gogeous stamp images and even prettier framelits! For this card, I kept it simple by stamping a collage of images in Sweet Sugarplum and rich Razzleberry with a strip of cardstock on top with the greeting. A couple of sequins adhered complete this beautiful, shimmery card!

For this beautifully simple, NOEL card, I used some of the This Christmas DSP (from the main catalog) and the Christmas Pines Stamp Set. The colors are simple and the design is quick and easy to create! First of all, I started with a Vanilla card base (4 1/4 x 11) and added a 4×4" piece of printed paper that I stamped on with the pine bough image with Garden Green and Pear Pizzazz ink. I added a scallop oval punch (cut in half and adhered to top and bottom) of the Noel. So pretty! So Simple! The final touch is some Real Red Satin ribbon.
You guessed it: there is an online class for that! 😉

I have completely fallen in love with the Jar of Cheer stamp set! I think it is the simplicity. When I first saw it, I didn't even plan on getting it–and now it is one of my fav's (wait till you see what all I've done with it!!!!) This card is SUPER simple and would be very easy to make–1/2 sheet of Pear pizzazz cardstock, a 2 x 4 1/4" piece of Whisper White cardstock, a 3/4 x 2" piece of scrap for the greeting and some super simple stamping. A sweet, simple embellishment in the form of the Gold Baker's twine (from the trio pack) creates this wonderfully simple card!

Just the cutest Santa card EVAH!!! Looking forward to your online Cookie Cutter and Star of Light classes. If they are anything like your other online works of art (and I’m sure that they will be), I will just love them. Thanks so much for sharing.
Mrs. Dena… To get the ink off your fingers, when washing your hands with soap, use a pumice stone and rub the ink spots and viola!! Clean fingers👋
The santa card is the cutest. You could even color his mittens with the green in the DSP strip which is what I will probably do when I get the punch and stamp sets. That ho ho ho part is just too cute and that little santa inside. Love the other cards as well and I don’t have those sets yet either. I have never taken one of your classes and this might be the time!
Thanks so much, Chris!! Youll love my classes–I have been getting tons of great feedback from people! 🙂
Thanks so much, Sherry! And thanks for the order of my classes–just wait! They are awesome! 🙂
