Today we went to Kanab, UT where Stampin Up’s manufacturing plant is located. The most amazing part is that we were able to take pictures of the inside of the plant, which we were unable to do before now! We were giddy!!!
First of all, Stampin Up is a major employer in the area and has worked hard to keep jobs for the people there. They’ve added more manufacturing thee to help, too. It used to just be stamps. Now they also make inkpads, cut, colate and package card stock as well as refills.
I’ll post more photos when I’m at my computer (I’m on my phone in the bus on our way back!)
The people who work there are amazing and welcomed us so warmly–it was hard not to smile!!
We had a quick and cute project to stamp, and a fabulous lunch with the best creme brûlée ever!!!!
We stopped by the rubber park where I realized white pants might not have been the best choice…oops! 😉
