I used the new Sunshine Sayings bundle for the words. I die cut the "sunshine" from Crumb Cake cardstock and stamped the bottom half with the woodgrain image from Timeless Textures stamp set.  I then used my stamp positioner to stamp the star fish.  I cut it out and added to my card, popped up with the linen thread. I adhered the greeting on top and stamped the "hello". SO pretty and with the stamp positioner, SO easy!  I hope you will join in on the fun of the Picture perfect Challenge this week!  Video on how to make this gorgeous Starfish card on my blog at www.thecreativitycave.com using Stampin Up's Picture Perfect Stamp set! #stampinup #thecreativitycave #handmade

  1. Dena! Although I have lived “inland” for many years, your charming Sunshine Starfish card instantly took me back to the seaside of my youth. I think I got this stamp set for the humming bird, but I haven’t used it yet. The humming bird will have to wait, I am going to make some cards inspired by your delightful card.
Do y’all have starfish on the Mississippi? Thanks for Sharing!

  2. Clicked on this card as soon as it went online so I could check out and see how Dena made that fabulous background which is just drop dead gorgeous! If anyone could make a background like that, it would be Dena! I guess stampinup decided it was so fabulous, it had to be sold as DSP 🙂 in the meantime, I’m totally making a stencil to recreate this background because it looks absolutely amazing with the starfish and colors Dena picked. Love it !!!!
