This week's Challenge at What Would You Stamp uses a wonderful stamp set, Vintage Leaves and I just knew I had to pull out my new Cable Knit Dynamic Embossing Folder and the new Copper Foil Sheets! And, I am super excited about the look: Simple and classy and the start of fall! First of all, that folder is AWESOME!!! I creates lots of texture and looks amazing! The simple use of that with the copper is really nice and I am so happy with how it turned out!
Gather Your Supplies:
- 1/2 sheet Very Vanilla cardstock plus 4 x 5 1/4" piece
- 4 1/8 x 5 3/8" copper foil paper
- versamark
- Copper embossing powder
- copper metallic thread
- heat tool
- vintage leaves stamp set and framelits
- Cable Knit Dynamic Embossing Folder (Holiday Catalog)
- Greeting of your choice
Be careful when embossing, as I noticed when I got too close to the paper with my heat tool, it separated from the foil piece and bubbled a bit.
Sure hope you like this one!
The two made witth the Cable Knit Dynamic Embossing Folder…
The other two made with "the experiemtal Spritzing" the left-hand one is with the Cajun Craze Marker. The Right-hand one is with the Watered down glue with the embossing powder from the video!
Happy Stamping everyone!!

Simply stunning Dena, what more can I say
The simplicity of the Vanilla and Copper makes for a gorgeous card!
Really pretty! I’m a pretty big fan of this color combo seeing how I have red hair. 🙂 Yeah… I don’t think I’m saving any money on making cards. 😛 In my mind I am. Some of those cards cost $5!! But, I do think I’m saving money on therapy for sure. I’m glad you kept pursuing the spritzing because I like your end result. I still have the copper ink pad. So, I’m thinking I could use that… Thanks for the inspiration!!
Thank you for your awesome video – love your cards !
Amazed that you embossed copper on the copper foil cardstock. What a great look! The leaves are just perfect for this technique. Thanks for sharing.
Such gorgeousness!!! Perfect cards for fall!!! Thanks for sharing!
Every single one of these cards is just absolutely gorgeous! Stunning cards, Dena!!! Thanks for sharing them! Alex.
These cards are fabulous, I can’t wait to try these. What great fall cards to send. Thank you again for all the inspiration.
Thanks so much, June!

Love it!
Thanks so much, Charlet!
Thank you so much for sharing your talent with all of us. I agree with everyone’s comments here. Great card. Love it. ☺
Great video, love the card. Recently learned from another card artist I follow, one can flick plain water using the “wet brush-tapping with another” method for embossing. Just have to work fairly quickly before the water dries. I tried & love this technique. Thanks for sharing!
Thanks so much, Lynda! I have tried that technique, but not had success with it. Maybe Ill have to give it another go!
