Welcome to the WWYS Challenge! This week our focus is the Mixed Drinks Set and it is one of my favorites for a fun card! Perfect for a friend, too! I love the possibilities with different color combos, different drink combinations and different garnishes! So much fun!
Gather Your Supplies:
- 1/2 Sheet Flirty Flamingo
- 3 7/8 x 5 1/8" Basic Black
- 3 3/4 x 5 Whisper White
- Scraps of white and black for punching
- Black Memento, Lemon Lime Twist, Melon Mambo, Flirty Flamingo, Peekaboo Peach, Bermuda Bay, Daffodil Delight
- Black Baker's Twine
- Black Marker
- 2", Starburst Circle, Triple Banner and Decorative Ribbon Border Punches
- Clear Wink of Stella
- Dimensionals
Stamping the background is so easy–I just lined up several black glasses across the background. I then added the "drink" inside each in different colors then added a straw and lemon wedge to a few of the glasses.
Did the same on a scrap of white and punched it out. It is really hard to photograph, but the one I punched has Clear Wink of Stella, because as everyone knows, a sparkly drink tastes better! 😉
A little black Baker's twine and a touch of scallops on the sentiment add for some nice touches!
