So last month I made a BOX-A-LOPE.  You can see the post with a video tutorial here.  This month I HAD to make another one! 🙂

Here is the first Box-a-lope!  As you saw in the video, I put my score lines to the inside of the ones that came with the envelope, so it created a smaller box than I intended.  BUT, as with all happy accidents, I ended up with an adorable mini-album that I think I will fill with photos of my kids for Grandma!

This is the front panel–I originally started with 3 cards (3 1/2 x 5" notecards folded) I adhered them together to create an accordion folded album.

This is one side of the accordion–I just added pieces and strips and pockets to complete!

This is the back side of the album.  It literally took about 10 minutes to put together!  Now that is my kind of album!  And it all fits in an awesome box-a-lope!!  Perfect for gift giving!

Next I made a Box-a-lope with score lines on the outside of the fold lines–this created the perfect size for my cards and envelopes.

These were also super quick and easy to make–just strips of paper (the stickers) and a few stamps!

Super quick and easy!  You could certainly substitute the stamps for whatever you need!

This is the card I showed in the video–I love the layout–so simple! Just a few strips of cardstock over a Kraft Cardstock Card. I think these colors look particularily good with the Kraft, too!  Blushing Bride, Calypso Coral and Watermelon Wonder with Whisper White ink.  Very Classy and so simple.  I added a Calypso Coral Seam Binding Ribbon and love how it turned out!

I think other color combos would look great with this layout, too! I am thinking several colors of green, school colors for Graduations, shades of blues…the sky is the limit!

And one last card!  This was just something I liked using the pieces from the kit and a Pool Party Card Base.  I love the pretty pearls that came in the kit!

  1. Oh baby is right! I love this card with the strips of paper and using the little background stamp. Who would have thought it was from the PP set? I love your other alternative projects too. What a way to use all the strips of paper! Love it! Even the little album was a great idea! Thanks for sharing your ideas with us!
