Welcome to the Thinking Outside of the Box Design Team Blog Hop!! This month we are making Simple Advent Calendars and I LOVE the one I have come up with!!
It is SIMPLE, On Trend and easy to create!
Here is what you will need to make 24 boxes:
- 3 packages of Pizza Boxes
- 12- 3 1/4" Square Old Olive Cardstock
- 12- 3 1/4" Square Basic Black Cardstock
- 48- 3 1/4 x 3/4" Old Olive Cardstock Strips
- 48- 3 1/4 x 3/4" Basic Black Cardstock Strips
- 24- 3×3" Squares of Merry Little Christmas DSP
- Starburst Punch
- 2" Circle Punch
- Silver Glimmer Paper
- Large Number Framelits
- Foam Adhesive Strips
- Fast Fuse
When assembling the boxes, make sure to give a good crease on each score line to create nice square boxes.
You can turn each box into a Christmas Tree Ornament if you'd like by simply adding some ribbon. I used Vintage Crochet Trim. A Little Tree filled with these boxes is so much fun!!
In each box you can add an activity, a bible passage and/or a sweet treat to celebrate Advent! I put my treat in a little gusseted cello bag. So much fun!
