Our theme this month is Men are our Muse (AKA Masculine Cards). Man cards are always a very popular theme as these can be challenging cards to create. I have a couple of awesome projects to share with you today that I hope will inspire you!
My first card uses the stamp set, One Wild Ride! This is a FANTASTIC set because obviously motorcycles are very popular for men and secondly the textures are amazing in this set! Check out my video on incorporaing all these textures in this card–it is really easy!
Of course, you have to make the inside fun! I think this card would work as a Birthday, Anniversary, or a Retirement card. I love the versatility the word CONGRATULATIONS offers-it could be for anything! 🙂
Gather Your Supplies:
- 1/2 Sheet Black (cut 4 1/4 x 11)
- 2- 4 x 5 1/4" pieces of Basic Gray Cardstock
- 1 1/5 x 5 1/2" Piece of Silver Foil
- Scraps of Smoky Slate
- Basic Gray, Smoky Slate and Black Memento Ink
- Stitched Shapes Framelits
- Hexagon Dynamic Embossing Folder
- Badge Punch
The card is pretty easy to create–just arrange the stamping and you are done. The Hexagon folder is AH-MAZ-ING! I love how versatile it is!!
This second card is super quick as well–and is also featured in the video above. Just some DSP, a few stamps and punching with a little texture (from my BFF Hexagon Dynamic folder!) and you have a fantastic card! This is also pretty versatile because it could be used for all kinds of stuff–I left the inside blank as you could personalize it for any occasion you may need–Thank You, Congrats, Birthday, Sorry I broke the dishwasher–you know–whatever! ;)
Gather Your Supplies:
- 1/2 Sheet Black (51/2 x 8 1/2")
- 4 x 5 1/4 Delightful Dijon
- 3 7/8 x 5 1/8" Urban Underground DSP (retired–but see below on how to get some!)
- 4 x 5 1/4" Very Vanilla (inside Card)
- Basic Gray, Black Memento, Delightful Dijon Ink pads
- Black Marker
- Triple Banner Punch
- Best Badge Punch
- Urban District Stamp Set
- Black Baker's Twine
- Hexagon Dynamic Folder
The inside is super simple–just 3 rows of stamping: Dijon, Gray, Black! I hope you loved these projects!
