Hi everyone,
I hope you have had a good week…I could not be happier that it is Friday!! We are going to the cabin this weekend and I am so excited even though we have to come home early! I think the fact that I have had the feeling of a cold coming on for over a week is part of it (just get going!) Also, I had a *really* long day yesterday…I pretty much worked non-stop from 6am to 10pm…and realized I ate Breakfast Lunch and Dinner standing up…at least I did pretty good and didn't eat too badly! :) Don't get me wrong, I loved the whole day, it was just tiring!
Enough of me whining! Let me get onto the samples…
I thought this swap that I recieved at convention was pretty cool…I love the circle circus stamp set, and the finial press embossing folder was used with white cardstock and then punched with various sizes of circles to add some texture…very cool!
Speaking of texture, this is a really cool card done by my awesome stamper-friend, Liz. She used the Pedaling Past stamp set and the Square Lattice Texture Folder. The Colors are Old Olive, Crumb Cake, Not Quite Navy, and Very Vanilla. She Spritzed the background with the spritzer tool and the Not Quite Navy Marker. LOVE IT!
Here is another swap that I recieved at convention. The colors are really great: Concord Crush, Cherry Cobbler, Marina Mist, Peach Parfait, and Pear Pizzazz. The Ribbon border punch was used along with the polka dot embossing folder, pear pizzazz thin taffeta and a new brights brad. The stamp set used is Awash with flowers, and I think you could use just about any greeting with it! Very pretty!
Have a great weekend!
