I am super excited to announce that I've been asked to be a guest designer for the Stamps, Ink, and Paper Challenge! I have really enjoyed playing with their challenges and I am thrilled to share with you my take on things! The idea is that you will see the challenge, see the Design Team member's take on the challenge, and then you will be so fabulously inspired you'll run straight to your stamping supplies and create endless cards and projects based on what you've seen here! How awesome is that?
When I first saw the sketch for my first Challenge, I liked it, but I'll be honest, it s not totally my style. But, I realized the great part of these challenges is that you don't have to make them EXACTLY as shown–I mean we have to leave some room for Creativity!! After all, am I not the owner of THE Creativity Cave!? So I decided I could take the overall look of the sketch and make it my own!
I started with a bunch of printed paper from the new Its My Party Printed Paper Stack. Love the designs in this package–and especially love they are NOT necessarily birthday designs, either! You can see that based on what I have here you could be celebrating a new job, new boyfriend, or just being awesome! Who know's?!
But once you open it up, the magic appears!! I used the new Party Pop-up Thinlit Dies!! Now these are fun! Check out my video to see how easy it was to create this card!
I love the touch of the washi tape and the greeting that coordinates with the set (the stamps and dies are part of a bundle that's discounted–yay!)
And one more thing that I just LOVE that is new, too: Wink of Stella!!!! Oh my gosh! Whoever created this should be crowned King or Queen for the day!! Now, I will tell you that the package does indicate that this product is not for cosmetic use, but I have yet to do the leg work as to its effects…I'll keep you posted!
One last look–I hope I've inspired you to create something awesome! Please join us for some fantastic challenges this month at http://stampinkpaper.com

Hi Dena I’m so happy to have you on the team at Stamp Ink Paper! Love your card, the banners look great just a bit askew (something I struggle with). Love the colors and pop up inside, too. Such a fun card.
Thanks so much, Sandy!! So thrilled to be a part of the Design team!!
