I have to tell you this sketch had me worried–nothing I was working on looked even remotely good. That makes me sad! BUT, as usual, at the last minute I came up with something I love!! I totally switched directions from where I was going and love what ended up happening!
I pulled out my English Garden DSP–I don't know what I've been waiting for–this paper is gorgeous and I've hardly touched it yet! But don't worry–I have made a bunch of fantastic cards with it! Check them out in my video:
Gather your supplies:
- 1/2 sheet Crumb Cake
- 5 3/8 x 4 1/8" polkadot printed paper
- 3 1/2 x 4 3/4" floral printed paper
- 3 5/8 x 4 7/8" Blushing Bride cardstock
- scrap of white (for greeting–mine is from A Dozen Thoughts)
- length of Natural Chevron Ribbon
I think the card comes together pretty easy–it is super fun substituting different patterns and colors! Would make a great set of cards, too! Hmmmmm….what other printed papers would this work well with??? I'm going to go with ALL of them!!
Speaking of Printed Papers…if you happen to be anything like me, you may have a sheet or two of printed papers lying around. Ok, you are a total hoarder! It is ok–you are in incredibly good company!
