SIP Challenge: Masculine Cards

Welcome to the Stamp Ink Paper Challenge! This week our theme is Masculine Cards and I have a great project for you that is EASY to create whether you are a water color expert or not! It is a quick technique that utilizes markers with watercolor paper and aquapainters.

Gather Your Supplies

1/2 Sheet Crumb Cake Cardstock
2 1/2 x 3 3/4 Watercolor Paper
2 3/4 x 4 Dapper Denim Cardstock
Old Olive, Daper Denim, Basic Black, Chocolate Chip Markers
Crumb Cake Ink pad and sponge
Country Livin Stamp Set
Aqua Painters
Pinewood Planks Dynamic Embossing Folder
Burlap Trim

The watercoloring is kind of a cheat! 🙂 So I colored with markers and blended with my Aqua Painters to get the watercolor effect. Super easy and effective with out a lot of watercoloring skill–my kind of crafting!

For the inside I stamped the truck off twice and added my greeting!

The Background is created with the new Pinewood Plank Dynamic Embossing Folder. LOVE the look and texture it creates! I highlighted it by sponging with some Crumb Cake to kind of give it a warn/distressed look to go with the old truck.
