So I will admit that the theme this week had me a bit perplexed with what I was going to do–I didn't think I had any of these supplies ready to go–and then I realized I had wood!!! (can you see the little gleam in my eye as I type that?!) What are you thinking, dirty minds????? 😉
This card is so easy!! I love that part–and it only use
s a few supplies–making it quick from start to finish! The video is quick and shows more cards, too!!
Gather supplies:
- Notecard/envelopes plus a scrap of white: 2 x 1 1/4"
- Paper Pumpkin Flowers (or other small flowers)
- Pretty Thankful Stamp Set
- Expressions Natural Elements (the wood!)
- Black and Yellow ink
- Adhesive
LOOK AT HOW PRETTY!! Sometimes I think we get so stuck on making such complicated cards we forget that simple is often amazing! Don't you agree?!
Check out the video because I have several more in different color schemes that I didn't photograph. Now for my shameless plug for Paper Pumpkin….

Great job with the Box-a-lope. I used to do the bag-a-lope at a lot of workshops!
Thanks, Linda!! I did, too!! 🙂

These are fun additions to the cards in the box-a-lope post. I didn’t even notice the little piece of white cardstock you stamped the flowers on and adhered the wooden element to until I saw it on the video. That totally makes sense rather than stamping on the card and adhering the words. If you don’t like the placement of the flowers – just use the other side or another piece. Thanks for another great idea.
Thanks so much, Chris!!
