Welcome to the SIP Challenge this week we are working with COLOR!! I always love color but man, this was a tricky color combo! I had to kinda add a little Rich Razzleberry to make it just right for me!
Gather Your Supplies:
- 1/2 Sheet Smoky Slate Cardstock
- 3 7/8 x 5 1/8 Rich Razzleberry Cardstock
- 3 5/8 x 4 7/8 Elegant Eggplant Cardstock
- 3 1/2 x 4 3/4 Watercolor Paper
- You've Got This Stamp Set
- Better Together (sentiments) Stamp set
- Seasonal Frame Thinlits
- Aqua Painter
- Basic Gray Marker
- Mint Macaron, Perfect Plum, Elegant Eggplant, Rich Razzleberry, Basic Gray, SMoky Slate Ink pads
The watercoloring is really easy, but be patient to add those dark shades at the bottom of each petal and get lighter as you go up. Great tips for that in the video–you can really see that here.
I LOVE the texture that the background image from this set offers! I didn't show it in the video or take a photo, but I stamped the coordinating sentiment inside the card (May your sorrow be eased by wonderful memories). As this is for a friend who just lost a friend, I thought it was perfect.
