Hello everyone! I hope you have enjoyed a wonderful Holiday Season! I am SOOOOOO excited to be back! After an extended break, it is so great to be back in action! And to start with this week, we have a fantastic challenge (or at least one of my FAV's!): Card Maker's Challenge! Yippie!
Gather your supplies:
- 1/2 Sheet Smoky Slate
- 3 1/2 x 4 3/4 Watercolor Paper
- 3 5/8 x 4 7/8 Basic Black
- Black Archival ink, Melon Mambo, Tangerine Tango, Bermuda Bay, Smoky Slate ink pads
- Aqua painters
- Post It
- Beautiful You Stamp Set
I love this card–super simple and easy! The coloring is a snap and it is just a wonderful card to send to someone to cheer them up! I of course am using a brand new stamp set called Beautiful You from the Occasions Catalog (it will be available TOMORROW!!!!) It is also one of my upcoming Online Card Classes. Details are posted here! I am just giddy! You are going to love the versatility of this stamp set!

Hello, beautiful card.. I’m a newbie I have a question the base card size you say 1/2 how is the cut.. at 5 1/2?

Great card! Loving these new pencils….I’ve seen a few things made with them. Looks like fun!
I’m just getting started and I don’t have smoky slate card stock yet. What other color would be okay for the card base? I was thinking crumb cake or craft card stock. Just wondering your thoughts. TIA
