Welcome to The Stamp, Ink, Paper Challenge! This week we have a gorgoeus color challenge–I wasn't sure I liked it at first–but now I am so in love!!!
Now, this is kind of an epic video–it is sort of a Murphy's Law–I start out saying how easy and awesome the card is–I also say it is a good day for making a card: I was doomed from the beginning–watch the video–The GASP is real! ๐ You'll laugh, I'm sure!! I'm giggling just thinking about it! ENJOY:
Gather Your Supplies:
- 1/2 Sheet of Pool Party
- 4 x 5 1/4" Whisiper White
- Scrap of Copper Foil Sheets
- Pine Bough Embossing FOlder
- Pinecone Trinket
- Copper Metallic Thread
- Organza Ribbon
- Pool Party Pad
TIP: when cutting the foil sheets, use the Precision plate to avoid the "dots" that get pressed into the foil. The Precision plate takes care of the majority of that!
TIP: tie the Pine Cone on with white baker's twine and feed it through the knot–this will hide it–whcih is awesome depending on your level of anal-ness! ๐

Thank you for not editing the gasp and all the other “creative challenges” out because the next time I have a gasp causing “challenge” I will remember this video and smile (probably after the gasp but still I will smile).
Thanks for sharing your gasp and fixes! We’ve all done that I am sure! This is a super card, elegant and easy!
Love the video and the card! Thanks for sharing!
Thanks so much, Sherry! I hope you have a wonderful Thanksgiving, too!
Dena
You can title the video – “Dena Does Damage Control” or something equally similar. The weather sucks too the last two days. Weren’t we just in T-shirts etc. last week? Welcome to Iowa which is a Murphy’s Law thing in itself. Anyway, loved the cards and even with the gray NOEL it might have looked cool with other fine tuning. Thanks for not editing or starting over – it just showed us how to help some of our mistakes. Your bow is just beautiful and I love the little pine cone on it and the tips to adhering it. Happy Thanksgiving tomorrow.
Aww! Thanks so much, Chris!
