SIP 57: Black and White

This week's challenge is Black and White and while I love those two colors they literally are screaming at me to add a pop of color.  It is killing me–I'm not gonna lie!  But rules are rules and I went with a Metallic accent.  It may be pushing the limits, but I LOVE the way it came out!  Plus Black and white is fancy–it calls for a little bling if you ask me! 😉

Gather Your Supplies: 

• 1/2 sheet of black 
• 4 x 5 1/4 whisper white
• 3 7/8 x 5 1/8 basic black
• 3 3/4 x 5 Whisper White
• Scraps of Black
• Scraps of Gold Glimmer
• Swirly Scribbles Thinlits
• May Flowers Framelits
• Greeting Set (Better Together) 
• Black Archival Ink

So I used the Swirly Scribbles Thinlits and they are so striking with the black and bling!  I cut a large and small swirl in black and a small swirl in Gold Glimmer and then 3 leaves from the Falling Leaves Framelit set.  So pretty!!  Arrange them as you like on the card and add a greeting.  Layer up all those beautiful layers and that is it!  Super easy and so striking!  I think it is perfect for a wedding card, but certainly would be great as a Birthday or Mafia funeral card, too!  You pick! 😉
