Simple to Stunning Sundays: Rooted in Nature Masculine Cards

Welcome to another edition of Simple to Stunning Sundays! I am so excited to share another set of projects that starts out simple and builds up to a stunning card!

Here are our cards–they are perfect for any masculine card needs that you may have! 

Simple card–so easy:

Gather Your Supplies:

• 1/2 Sheet Old Olive
• 3 1/2 x 4 3/4 Whisper White
• Old Olive, Early Espresso Cardstock
• Rooted in Nature Bundle
• Linen Thread

Stepping it up:

• 1/2 Sheet Old Olive
• 3 1/2 x 4 3/4" Whisper White
• 1 1/4 x 5" Crumb Cake
• Early Espresso Marker

I die cut the tree and popped it up (always great to pop something up on a card! 🙂

I added some Early Espresso marker to the tree trunk before I stamped it down, then die cut it.

I think the Crumb Cake strip for the sentiment is fantastic and adds to the masculine look.

The final stepped up project looks really great with the Wood Texture DSP. 

I added some more dimension by adding some Early Espresso marker on more branches to really create depth in the tree. The sentiment on the contrasting DSP is really wonderful, too!
