OSAT Blog Hop: Masculine Cards

Welcome to the OSAT Blog Hop!  This month our theme is All About Men –Masculine Cards! I love this theme because this is one of my most requested types of cards–people always need ideas for these types of cards and whether you need to whip up something for Father's Day or you have a man in your life celebrating something, I have you covered!

I am so in love with this new Wood Textures Printed Papers!  They are so fabulous for so many different reasons!  I decided they were perfect for a man card!

The inside of the card is even better!  I die cut "DAD" with the Large Letters Framelits

I die cut DAD a second time–out of fun foam to adhere to the back of the printed papers.  This way, the letters are popped up on the card and they really stand out.

The pop up mechanism is super easy–just cut the Vanilla layer in about  1 1/4" from each side and cut about 1" down from score line.  Then Pop out the cut portion.  Super easy!

Isn't this a fantastic (and simple) card!  

I had to create something fun to go with it (or to use separately).  I think a gift card holder that contains chocolate is obviously the most ideal situation!  So I just glue dotted the gift card to my chocolate bar and wrapped a little burlap around it.  EASY PEASY!   The wrap is just a 6×6 piece of printed paper adhered to itself–not the chocolate so you can pull it out.
