Oh Hello!

I have to admit, I wasn't super thrilled with the stamp set (but LOVED the Oval Framelits and the chevron oval), but now I'm in love!! I figured the chevron parts (the border image) would be really hard to line up, but they are surprisingly easy (especially with the clear mount stamps)…I made this card for a swap I am in and I just love how it turned out.  I did another version, in Red and Black and Yellow, that I'll post once I photograph it…  My favorite part is the embossing over the chevron pattern.  I love the texture it adds and I often think about what types of things my stamping friend (and Stamping Idol), Liz would do…I hope she liked that touch! 🙂

This one uses the Oval Framelits, Oh Hello Set, Needlepoint Embossing Folder and Tea for Two Printed paper, all from our new Occasions Mini Catalog.  The COlors are Very Vanilla, Island Indigo, So Saffron, Soft Suede and Lucky Limeade.  Love it!
