I’m sitting here finishing up my projects for my scrap club and I was working on a page with the title, “thankful 2014” and I couldn’t help but think I don’t take enough time to just be grateful for the day!
So often we are so busy getting from A to B (or in my case getting kid 1 to A, picking up kid 2 from B, figuring out how to feed them, and get them all back home in time to do C!). So I decided to diecut 30 top notes, stamp them with the I’m Thankful For… Stamp and write on one each day.
I figured this was better than the gratitude challenge on FB, because then I wasn’t necessarily on FB everyday–you know how that can suck up half an hour without even blinking!!! Plus the whole world doesn’t need to see everything I write. I have never really been much of a journal writer, but this is quick and easy–and let’s face it, there are only 6 lines on the stamp–and 2 are partial! I’m nothing, if not practical!!
Maybe I’ll do something like this for the month of December–maybe I’ll have my kids do it! It could be a great family task while eating dinner–I think kids should think about this more often!
Have you ever done anything like this? I think it will be especially cool to go back and look at it in the future!
Leave me a comment on what you like to do!
