While all of us demonstrators are in mourning over the loss of Blendabilities (and hope, and I'm not afraid to say, PRAY that they will return someday), I found a little trick to making some supplies you probably already have work the same way–at least similarly! Now I am not here to tell you everything will be ok, it is exactly like when you had those precious fabulous markers in your hand. But you will indeed, have markers in your hand! 😉 Now the results are great–not the same–but something to do in the mean time. I have faith that Stampin Up will know how much we want these markers back and find a manufacturer that can make them as awesome as we want them to be! Here is how it works: You are going to use StazOn, Watercolor Paper (this is key) and your Stampin Write Markers. Here is a close-up. Don't pay attention to all the places where I colored like a distracted kindergartner… Notice the fabulously blended letters!! Check out the How-to Video I made. Below I will have supplies and the samples I showed in the video along with more close-ups! Click on the supply links to purchase any supplies you may need to make these awesome cards!!
The individual marker colors I used: Real Red, Pumpkin Pie, Crushed Curry, Daffodil Delight, Old Olive, Pear Pizzazz, Bermuda Bay, Pool Party, Rich Razzleberry

Do you like the ultra close-ups!? I think it is good to see the details, but you also notice all the flaws–you know–like when you look super close in the mirror at your face! My pores are really not that big!!! 😉 It is mostly to show you how the smoky slate maker edging looks great to pop that image out!! The stamped image on the border at the very bottom of the card is from February's Paper Pumpkin kit.

Great video Dena! I have always loved using the water color paper!
I LOVE your For being You card! So simple, but bright and cheerful! I love how you used the “for all you do” over and over for the background. Perfect!
