I JUST LOVE this set!!!!
I have been busy making cards with it–and if you are in my club we are going to be making the CUTEST cards using this set next week when we get started—and in a shameless plug, there is still time to join!!
This cute card uses the punch box, Pommegranate, So Saffron, Blush Blossom, and Sahara Sand Cardstock, Pommegranate, Celery, Sahara Sand Inks, White grosgrain ribbon, and Moss Gingham ribbon–piece of cake!
This card uses the hostess set, Garden Silhouettes–the branch and flowers are punched out and added on top–use a little gel pen for the centers!! VERY CUTE!! The colors are Sage Shadow, Pretty in pink, and whisper white!
These are the cute Love Notes that you get for free when you order the punch box this month–they are 3×3 cards, with envelopes in textured cardstock. I whipped these up in just a couple of minutes–they are sooooo QUICK and easy–perfect for a quick giftcard!
I used Purely Pommegranate and Wild Wasabi ink, cardstock on the Left–and Wild Wasabi Double stitched ribbon.
I used the same on the right–but there is also a little layer of soft sky in there (and a ss flower), too! SOOOOOOOOOOO Easy!
This cute card uses the Baroque Motifs background (and word) and is Celery ink on Celery cs. The flowers are Bashful Blue, Apricot Appeal and Pretty in Pink. The gel pen adds a little "flourish" to the background and I added little SS Brads to the centers of the flowers! CUTE–and easy!
This AWESOME card is done by my friend Liz, and it is based on the sample in the catalog on page 21–which I might add that set did nothing for me until I saw the sample in the catalog….anyway..back to this card…It uses the plum branch from the set, Artfully Asian–a favorite among many of you. HOW CUTE!!! Love it!! The card is in Certainly Celery, with Apricot appeal and groovy guava ink, cardstock. The grosgrain ribbon is very vanilla, with a hunk of apricot appeal, plus a few gold brads and to top it off the circle was cut with the coluzzle. If you don’t have this tool yet, get it–everything circles has been so popular for a while now–grab onto the bandwagon!!
That’s all for now–hope you have a great day and don’t forget about the contest–ends tomorrow night!! E-mail me if you don’t know the details:
Dena, these are the cutest cards. However, I think the cutest is your new hair cut – you just look super in all the convention pictures. (Deb too!)
Hi Dena, Just wanted to let you know how much I enjoyed the 10 quick cards class yesterday. We made some really neat cards!
