Long overdue Inspiration…

Hi all,

Thanks for being patient with me while I’ve gotten back into the groove of things…

And may I just say, SNOW…Honestly people…how can we have snow this late?  Thank goodness it did not last…but what a blow to the morale! 🙂

I also forgot in the e-mail I sent out to mention I have a pretties kit class coming up a week from Tuesday (the 22nd).  It is $35 and includes a pretties kit to take home with you–so basically you get a class for free if you come!!  But, to make sure I have enough of them on hand, I need to order them so please RSVP if you’d like to come (or if you want the class and can’t come) as soon as possible!!

Here is a little inspiration for you today…

Img_0864 Essance of Life…this awesome set from the mini catalog is so great–this card is done with the resist technique.  Stamp the image in clear ink and emboss–then sponge sky blue ink over the top–the embossed image pops up!

The colors are Soft SKy, Whisper White, Blue Bayou, and Chocolate Chip.  The printed paper is Afternoon Tea also from the mini catalog.

The punches are 1" and 1 1/4" circle punches.

Img_0861 This beautiful card is done with the set, Live your Dream from the mini.  The colors are Wild Wasabi, Groovy Guava, and Chocolate chip.

The printed paper is afternoon tea, again and the ribbon is the ivory taffeta.    The corners are punched with the ticket corner punch and the photo corners punch is in the corners below on opposite side.

LOVE it!!  Very simple and easy

Img_0878 This card is one we will make in my pretties class next week.  It uses the set, Friendly Flowers from the mini catalog as well as Many Happy Returns.

The colors are Wild Wasabi and Certainly Celery.  The 1 1/4" circle punch was used along with a little sponging–very simple but absolutely beautiful…I made this while trying to come up with something totally different–it is always amazing what you can come up with when you are NOT trying! 🙂

Have a great day!
