It’s a conspiracy…

First Deb called me from the beach in Florida where she was sitting with her toes in that ultra-fine grained super white sand (probably sipping some tropical drink–okay maybe not, her kids were there).  She mentioned it was like 84-degrees and they didn’t want to leave because they "had such a great spot on the beach"….

Then one of my recruits e-mailed me some pictures of their 4 month old daughter (who is super cute)…all was fine–baby with a little stuffed animal–baby on a blanket–BABY AT THE OCEAN—UGH!!!  I could not believe she slipped beautiful OCEAN pictures in!!  Sunny and everything!!  NO FAIR!!!

I need to just stamp….clearly winter will never end as I am getting frustrated! 🙁

Img_0732 Here is another bird from one of my favorite sets, Always.  My stamping buddy, Elisa made it (she is great!!)  It uses the slit punch to create the scallop border.

Colors are Rose Red Basic Black and whisper white.

The bird is colored in with an Old olive and rose red marker and punched with the 1 1/4" circle and layered with the 1 3/8 and scallop circle punches.

The background is done in the sanded stamp (LOVE that one) and the printed paper is from the rose red prints pack.  A little black gingham tops it off with the ticket corner punch for the greeting!

Img_0765 Here is one from our little sand and surf traitor, Deb–she knows I still love her–I’m just super jealous!!.  It uses the set, blooming with happiness–it is a really beautiful card!!

She watercolored the wheelbarrow in going gray ink and added the jumbo eyelet to the wheel.

The flowers are from the new Boho flower punch and are sponged with ink around the edges and attached with brads.  The colors are so saffron, pretty in pink and certainly celery.  The card is from Naturals white

Img_2955 Here is a good one for spring–it uses the small oval punch to create a beautiful daisy–the center is the 3/4" circle punched in so saffron.

The little rectangle is little holes poked with the mat pack and the stem is done with the stamp happiness from warm words with another couple of ovals in garden green to make leaves.

The card is done in kraft ink and mounted on night of navy–I may have done a different background (I got this card in a swap) like white or saffron to brighten it up a bit…either way it is super cute!!

That is all for now–need to work on my scrapbook pages for class tomorrow!!

  1. Your right, it is a conspiracy….and these are friends? I guess we are just jealous. You need to do some “green with envy cards”…I know that I should.
Cute cards! The jumbo eyelet on the wheelbarrow is too cute.

  2. Sorry Dena and Stamper Friends, I couldn’t resist. If there was a way to have stamped on the beach and read Dena’s blog I would have done so, that would have been pure heaven. Stampin’ in the sand…aaaahhhhh.
Thanks again for the awesome blog and inspiration Dena!!!
