International Blog Highlights: October

Welcome to the International Blog Highlights–it is like a blog hop–but you can preview all the projects from my page!  I am so excited to be joining my friends from all across the globe for this fabulous event to inspire you and help get your creative juices flowing!

I love this beautiful fall card!! I was inspired by the leaves in the tree right outside my house in the back yard!  This is my favorite time of year–the seasons changing, beautiful fall colors, and cooler air after a hot summer!

Gather Your Supplies:

• 1/2 sheet of Cajun Craze
• 3 1/2 x 4 3/4 Watercolor Paper
• 3 5/8 x 4 7/8 Rose Red
• Rose Red, Cajun Craze, Crushed Curry, Old Olive and Versamark pads
• GOld Embossing powder, Embossing Buddy, and Heat tool
• Gold embellishments
• Here for You and Vintage Leaves stamp sets
• Aqua Painters

After you stamp and emboss the leaf, I colored it in with each color, careful not to mix too much, so that each color could be seen on its own.  I then spritzed each color and then for a final touch, spritzed GOLD wink of stella!  SO beautiful up close!

The Thank You card is the same idea, just carried out a bit differently–I used the Faux Watercolor Technique and this card will be a video featured on my VIP Rewards Page tomorrow!
