…and I don't care who knows it….That is a line from my favorite Christmas movie, Elf! I have been having the very best time playing with the Fun Flowers die–it is so awesome! There are 3 flowers and they are all different, but they all layer together! It rocks!!
Here are some of the samples I created…that's right…I created original cards!!!
This beautiful card (and it is prettier in person) was done with the sets, Nature Walk and You're a gem. Colors are Very Vanilla, Crumb Cake, So Saffron, and Peach Parfait. I used the Botanical Gazette and First Edition printed papers from the Occasions Mini. I crumpled the first edition flowers and layered on top of the solid colored pieces. I also used the 3 1/2" circle die.
This is a cute one based on something I saw at the Minneapolis Regional Seminar that we attended a few weeks ago. I used Subtles Prints papers, Basic Black and Naturals White. A little Black Satin and Chantilly Crochet Trim with an Antique Brad was fun! Greeting from Thank You Kindly, a Sale-a-bration option, this year!
This is a great card (and so easy)…this card was done using the faux suede technique (where you run the paper over the bone folder a bunch of times till it separates and then pull the layers apart). I added a medium flower cut out of the first edition printed papers and the center is done with black satin ribbon…twist and stick onto sticky strip. The greeting is from So Happy For You, a Sale-a-bration set, and the ribbon is pear pizzazz polytwill!
Hope you liked 'em!
Have a great day!
