I hope you didn't think I had fallen off the face of the earth…I most certainly have not! But, it does feel a little like that sometimes…I have been rediculously busy, on vacation, and trying to get myself back together, and sadly, my blog suffers in times like those, but I've been back at it and I am ready to share!
First of all, today is a big day: The last day to earn an extra $30 in free merchandise for a $350 order or an extra $30 Free in your starter kit if you'd like to join our family of Stampin Up Demonstrators. Second of all, the current catalog and Occasions Catalog are wrapping up: the big catalog is available through June 3rd and the Occasions catalog is available through May 31st. Online ordering will be down from Midnight tonight to noon tomorrow while our servers are updated with the new catalog items, FYI.
This time of year always makes me a little sad and a little excited! I am always sad to see things go, but I am also thrilled about fun new things to play with! So, here are a few things that I am sad to see leave that if you like, I would make sure to order:
Collage Curios and Soda Pop Tops (Occasions Catalog) p. 24. Both are inexpensive and fun to play with. I made this card from one I saw online somewhere…so simple and cute!
Here's one I copied from Stampin up…same set, same sodapop tops. By the way: notice they are flattned?! How did I do that? I ran them on the platform with NO tab, between 2 pieces of plastic on my big shot. Easy peasy!
The other day I was on Pinterest and I pinned a bunch of card sketches to my Stampin Up Cards I Love board, and I have been suffering from a little bit of lost Mojo so I pulled one of them up and these two cards are ones I made with the Circle Circus set (p. 99 of the big catty) and A Word for You (p. 141 of Big Catty) both being discontinued. Colors are Crumb Cake, Soft Suede, Rich Razzleberry, and Soft Sky
Same Sketch, still Circle Circus and Same Colors, but with Curly Cutep. 138 of the big catalog. All these sets are being discontinued (boo hoo, and I love 'em!)
Here is another one off that sketch pin…Circle Circus, 1 3/4" circle and lg scallop circle punches, punch pack, brights designer prints paper, black cardstock, a pearl and some black staz on ink.
Ever feel like a paper hoarder? I most certainly am! This card is another sketch and is a great way to use up scraps of printed papers that you just can't seem to let go of…I used the Floral District Printed paper (on the discontinued list), a Brights button and some crumb cake paper. 1 3/8" square punch, but I'd probably do the 1 1/4" or postage sqaure punch next time. little smaller may be better.
This is an adorable little set, Summer Solstice (p. 93 of big catty) that I have just always loved! I copied this card from somewhere and added my own little touches…Love the punch pack on the center of the bflies!

Remember what I said about hoarding paper…here is another great use of it: I used the 25th Anniversary set: Birthdays to make this one. Oval Framelits and brights buttons and prints papers, with a little white stitched ribbons and the aquapainters to color them in!
This card is another I copied from somewhere online…I just love love love love it! It is the Oh Whale stamps set with the Happy Whale Clearlits (p. 29 of occasions catalog) and the Labels Framelits. I used the Twitterpated printed paper and all this stuff (except the Label Framelits) are being discontinued…a big boo hoo. This card is just so darn cute!
