Hello Everyone! One of the things I hear a lot is that it takes FOREVVVVVVVER to make a single card! I so get that! I have been known to spend an entire day in my craft room only to create a couple of cards!
In listening to struggles such as this as well as how to use up your printed papers, how to incorporate different elemments into your cards and more, I have developed a new series of classes. I am so excited about the Facebook Classes that I have been holding for the last several months. Each month is different and each class gives you so much! There are always 3 card layouts (and several samples of each layout), there are always at least 3 color combos for each class. There are several tips and tricks incorporated into each live and even the opportunity to make requests and there are ALWAYS ideas on using DSP (printed paper) in your cards. I know y'all hoard it just like me!
To help show you the power of the class, I took one of our card layouts from one of the 3 FB lives we do each month (this one is from January's Class) and I want you to see what it is I do:
First of all, we focus on 3 different layouts each month. Here is one of the layouts we did in January. I give you the dimensions for each layer and we make up this "layout" sample card to keep in a file.
Dimensions:
- 1/2 Sheet cardstock
- 3×2" Whisper White
- 3 1/4 x 2 1/4 Cardstock
- 2 1/4 x 4 1/2 DSP
- 2 1/2 x 4 3/4" Cardsotck
Then when you go to sit down to stamp, you can grab a layout and then create from there. I then showcase for you, several examples using that layout and variations of it:
my first card features the Life is Grand Stamp set and Bloom by Bloom Bundle, Botanical Butterflies DSP, and Foliage Frame Framelits
Colors are Melon Mambo, Grapefruit Grove, Lemon Lime Twist, Granny Apple Green, Vellum
I have to say, I really LOVE this card!!
The next card features the Hey Love and So Hoppy Together Stamp Sets!
Colors are Black Memento (because i use the Blends to color the frog), Poppy Parade, Lemon Lime Twist, Granny Apple Green
Turning the layout on its side makes it even more versatile!
In this gorgeous card, I used the die cut element from the Climbing Roses in place of my larger panel of DSP. SO COOL!
Climbing Roses Bundle, Subtle Embossing Folder, Petal Pink, Calypso Coral, Soft Seafoam, Basic Gray
And finally, I had to break out the Geared Up Garage Bundle and I LOVE how it turned out!
Geared Up Garage Bundle, Smoky SLate, Basic Gray, Silver Foil, Classic Garage DSP, Classic Garage Elements
What did you think? This is just a few of the comments I hear about what people are saying about class:
"Still giggling because the “awesomeness” it is beyond my expectations every class!!!" -Twila C.
"Awesome cards today (and everyday!). Can never get enough of watching you create." -Carol B.
"Thank you for the side note on why you chose that particular type of sentiment–so helpful!" -Kasey
" I so love all your ideas!" -Barbara D
"Your layouts are wonderful. I did 8 cards in 4 hours with layout, paper, cutting and putting together. Really speedy" -Barbara G
Whether you are new to stamping or a seasoned veteran, you are going to love the inspiration filled in this class!

I love these cards! I’ll check into your classes later. As a hobbyist demonstrator, money is tight! But, I’ll look! I love these cards! I could keep saying just that! I love the way you upgraded your second card! And OH! Those lips! I cracked up! Yes, I remember the OnStage presentation! I laughed so hard I cried! TFS!
