Thought you may like some inspiration from the holiday mini–it is only good through the end of this month so make sure you take advantage of some of the wonderful sets that this mini catalog has to offer. My favorites are: Season of Joy, True Friend, Stem Silhouettes, and the rediculously cute Merry & Bright. Don’t forget the library clips, too!!
This is not the greatest photo–but this is an AWESOME card (I made it!). The set is True Friend, the colors are Soft Sky and Close to Cocoa. VERY cute!! LOVE IT!! I also used Hugs and Wishes and the 1 1/4 and 1 3/8" circle punches as well as the mat pack to poke the holes going across the card.
This card is a 3 x 6" card–a "tall" card–VERY cute!! We have envelopes for this size in the catalog.
This card was done again using the True Friend set. I stamped the circle design pattern in Chocolate Chip ink and then in Pomegranate Ink. I punched the Pomegranate one with the 5-petal punch and then adhered them together with stampin dimensinals so that the chocolate one was visable partially below…hard to explain–looks cool in person! 🙂
I used the jumbo pewter eyelet for the center, set with the crop-a-dile. I also used the awesome chocolate satin ribbon from the mini catalog. COOL!!
This awesome card was done by my good friend, Julie, a fellow demonstrator from California. She used the Basic Gray and Soft Sky color combo (which I think totally rocks!!). She used the set, Season of Joy and the Wintergreen printed paper. The corners are all rounded which is a nice touch, and the scallop edge was made by taking the corner rounder and removing the guard and just stamping it across the white cardstock. The snoflake is punched out with the 1 1/4" circle punch and attached to a metal edged tag adn teh final touch is a silver brad and some basic gray taffeta. BEAUTIFUL!!
Julie also made this pretty card with the Season of joy set. The colors are Purely Pomegranate, Regal Rose and Wild Wasabi. The wild wasabi stitched ribbon is perfect and the 3 brads are great in the center (they are brass brads).
This beautiful card was made by another good friend, Liz. She used the Supersized snowflake and the wintergreen printed cardstock. She stamped the snowflake in soft sky ink and added a clear rhinestone (from the pretties kit) to the center. She cut it out using the coluzzle and sponged celery ink around the edge.
The elastic cord through the Soft Subtle eyelets is great, too!! The greeting is from Very Merry Messages.
Another great card by Liz…this one uses the supersized snowflake with the solid stamped in bashful blue and the outline was stamped over it (using a stamp positioner) in purely pomegranate. The solid part also has glitter on it–lots of sparkle!!
The center has a Rich Regal Brad and the circle image is Thoroughly Thoughtful with blue taffeta and pink gingham ribbon. FUN FUN FUN!!!
