I just love the bright, happy colors that I used to create this card!

Great new color combo using Stampin Up's new In Colors! Video tutorial and card ideas with this color scheme on my blog!

The colors are so fun!

The Stamping is a piece of cake.  As I promised in the video, I used the following pieces:

  • 1/2 sheet of Peekaboo Peach cardstock
  • 3 1/2 x 4 3/4" Whisper White
  • 3 5/8 x 4 7/8" Flirty Flamingo

I stamped off on the base of the larger flower to achieve the extra "shades" of color as well as the water in the jar. I love how that gives you more colors with one pad!

The Ruched Ribbon bow is such a great look for showcasing the color and texture of the ribbon without it being bulky!

As promised the other card I had made using this set so far:

I substituted Emerald Envy for the Pear Pizzazz in the card above, plus I added Dapper Denim.  So many possibilities with this set! I can't wait to keep working on it!

Supplies listed at the bottom of the post.  I hope you'll continue on to the amazing, Ruth Trice's Blog and the rest of our talented international team!  The talent is outstanding with this group of ladies and I am so honored to be among them!

  1. Hi Dena,
You actually made that new orange look pretty! 😉
Who would have thought pink and orange make a nice combination.
    Totally forgot about that one.
Love your card, it’s elegant and yet gives a summer feeling.
So sorry we haven’t had a chance to have another chat on the boat, but happy to be hopping along with you.

  2. Love both cards. I never thought to use the back of the cardstock to stamp off – makes sense! I wish they would have had the word “Ball” for the jar but maybe there was infringement problems but that would have made the jars all the more realistic. Kerr is the other jar maker that comes to mind. Thanks for showing us how flat the ribbon knot can be for mailing!

  3. Dena,
I am just always amazed at your videos! You inspire me so much! I can’t even tell you how many of your ideas I have totally copied, and this is another one that I am going to be using in my class next week. I love the colors and the idea. So simple and the bow tying trick is also amazing. I had to rewind the video like 4 times to watch you tie that bow. So easy. I have a lot of bow challenged customers and will be showing them your tip. I really want to make videos too but can’t seem to figure out how to set it up right. You make it look so easy. AWESOME JOB!!!! Keep the ideas coming!!!Miss seeing you too! hugs, Lisa Freeman
