Happy Friday…UGH!!!

It is such a beautiful day and I couldn’t feel much yuckier!!  There is something wrong about being sick when the weather is finally nice!  But, Carl is napping, I even had a nap and I am ready to post a little before he gets up!!

Sooooooooooooooooooooooooooo, I thought I best get on top of some samples!

Img_1423 The Spring Mini is coming to an end and one of the best sets in there is Office Accutrement–a very cool set that has this amazing flower and some other fun things…I can’t stop using it!  This card also uses the coordinating paper, Notations.  The card is Sahara Sand, with Whisper white and So Saffron.  I added a button from the Favorites II set, and some apricot ribbon.  The saying is from Warm Words, and the scallop edge is done using the slit punch…you just punch it across a piece of cardstock…very simple and cool!

Img_1426_2 This is another card using office accutrement–and the petals and paisley cardstock from the mini catalog.  I folded over the top edge of the cardstock so you see both sides–a great when you just can’t bear to cover one side up!  The ink is Old Olive and the card is So Saffron.  The button is from Fresh Fav. II as well as MY Old Olive RIbbon.  The Thinking of you is from a set that is retiring, called Friend to Friend–a set of words–that I will miss!!

Img_1450 This awesome card uses the Doodle That set along with the Doodle Alphabet from the mini catalog.  It is just too cute!!  The words are super quick and easy to stamp because they look best when not lined up perfectly due to their "doodle" nature!  The colors of Red and Turquoise are a nice contrast!!  The word window punch is eyeletted to the card along with a knot of Black Gingham.  I think this card is just awesome and it makes me want to stamp more with that doodle alphabet–this one isn’t just for the scrapbookers!!

Img_1452_2 This aweseome card is as cute as they come–I just love it!!  It uses the sets, Ahoy Matey, Unfrogettable, and from the Spring Mini, Crab and Company.  The spiral punch makes it look like a filmstrip when done on each end, and the confetti that the punch makes is used as the eyepatches for each pirate…HOW CUTE!!!  Now that you are all thinking I am an amazing, creative, goddess, forget it…It was a swap card from my Cruise swap!! 🙂  The background is the Fishy Wheel in Green Galore on Green Galore cardstock, and the images are colored in markers!  LOVE IT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

That’s it for now…Gotta figure out how to save my pics rotated 90-degrees clockwise so I can post them and you won’t have to turn your head to see ’em! 🙂  Have a great weekend!

  1. I loved how you mixed the sets (Unfrogettable, Ahoy Matey, and Crab and Company) and made them to look like they all came from the same set. The eye patches are priceless!
