Now onto my fun projects!
To create the background you just use an aquapainer with your ink pads (squeeze the lid to the pad to grab the color) and wash. I made sure to leave a little gap between colors so that the color would not run. Colors: Tangelo Twist, Rich Razzleberry and Old Olive. I used the watercolor paper and just love how beautiful the swatches look. You just won't get these results on regular cardstock, so it is worth it to use the Watercolor paper.
Next I stamped the leaf from a new set, Lighthearted Leaves with white ink on Vellum CS. I die-cut the leaf using the leaves framelits and atached it with a little strip of dimensionals (you know the edge pieces). I placed it so that it was between the two colors, and that way hidden!
I diecut the "grateful" using the Seasonal Frame Thinlits and some Gold Glimmer Paper. I LOVE these framelits and think they are just the best–I suppose it is the words! 🙂
I just love the contrast of the white vellum and gold glimmer paper against the watercolor background!
Then I added the Into The Woods Element with a glue dot. That's it! Well, after I made this, I really got going!:
Same concept, different colors: Soft Sky, Bermuda Bay, Island Indigo, and Night of Navy. Stamps are Flurry of Wishes (coordinates with a new snowflake punch, as well as the Medallion punch, which I used here–again white on vellum).
I added some glitter for fun!
This gorgous card uses the Sparkly Season stamp set and the new Real Red Pom-Pom Trim! Colors are Real Red and Old Olive.
Falala in silver glimmer paper (LOVE these words–they are so fun!!)
Pom-Poms!!!!
Thanks so much for stopping by! I hope you have a great day and please visit again soon! (links for Holiday Items not allowed until the catalog goes live Sept. 1)
