Well, it seems like the glorious days of summer are finally gone as I saw frost all over the yards and roofs this morning!! I happened to see a wonderful photo op as I brought Carl to daycare…
Is this kid camera shy? I think not!!! But how cute is he?? He ripped the hat off about a second after I snapped this pic (along with his shoes)!!
This means that it is time for stamping!! A few reminders: My class on Saturday, Pretties cards as well as Chipboard office set still have openings–please call or e-mail me to to sign up!!
Also, my STAMP YOUR ART OUT all day stamping event is just about full. I am doing two days–Sat. Nov. 3rd or Sunday Nov. 4th. You pick the day that works best for you and I provide an amazing day of stamp pampering!! Sign up asap as I am ordering supplies for goodie bags and projects tomorrow!!
And now, some inspiration:
Here is one of the cards from the pretties class (and this one is the simple, basic one). This is such an awesome class–you won’t want to miss it!!
The colors are whisper white and Blue Bayou. The stamp is from warm words and the paper is the Blue Bayou printed cardstock. The pretties flower and pearl are simple and pretty!! The double stiched ribbon is always a nice touch!
This is a hostess set, So Many Sayings, and I saw how another demonstrator cut it up and mounted it on the sides of dominoes (which I have done below)….HOW COOL IS THAT????? I just love all the different sayings in this set and now I can use them individually! Also, pretty much everything will fit in the word window punch from this set–COOL!!!
See!!! I have also found that in using them, the small, skinny size of the domino makes it easy to place!! WAAAAAY COOL!!!
This cool card was designed by YOUR’S TRULY and is super quick (and I mean quick!) I used the set, True Friend from the Holiday Mini catalog and Basic Gray and Soft Sky Inks and cardstock.
The saying is stamped on vellum (let dry so it won’t smear) and I attached it with the ADORABLE little Library clips from the mini catalog (you may miss them–they are on p. 16). FUN!
This pretty card was inspired by a card from our Stampin Success (the newsletter that we Demonstrators recieve every month). It uses the Sanded Background, True Friend and absolutely Fabulous set. The colors are Real Red, Regal Rose, Certainly Celery and Very Vanilla cardstock. The ink colors are Regal rose, Real Red, Certainly Celery, Always Artichoke, and So Saffron. I did the cracked glass (without the cracking) on the flower–you stamp it–cover it with versamark and emboss it three times in Glassy Glaze–TOO COOL!!!
I also used Rich Regal Brads and Ivory Taffeta ribbon! Way pretty!
This great card uses the set, Autumn Fest and Big Deal Alphabet (my fav) plus the weathered and linen backgrounds. The color combo is great–Purely Pomegranate, Always Artichoke, and Taken with Teal! I totally copied this from a fellow demonstrator–and modified it SLIGHTLY.
TheCutter Kit provides the cool roughed up edges. And, the staple holds the little tab of pomegranate stitched ribbon. Cutting the letters out didn’t take long at all and was a cool touch!! It CERTAINLY feels like fall now!!
This pretty card is done with the set, Stem Silhouttes, from the Mini Catalog. SO Beautiful and SO easy!!
I used Chocolate CHip, Blue Bayou, Kraft, Whisper White and Blue Bayou Prints cardstock.
The image is stamped in blue Bayou and attached with vintage brads to the kraft brown and then a little knot of kraft Tafeta ribbon adds a lovely touch to tie it all together. The Scallop punch is really pretty with this card and I used the Circle of Friendship stamp in the scallop. Oh, did I mention I totally copied this one, too?! This was one of the cards that did not make it in my Scallop punch class Monday! Let me know if you would like a class set!
This pretty card is done with the set, Thoroughly Thankful, plus the background Sanded. I used Old Olive, Elegant Eggplant, and Naturals Ivory. Everything is colored using an aquapainter and ink pads. I used Old Olive, Close to Cocoa and Pumpkin Pie inks. I stamped the image in Stazon Timber Brown–then cut it up!!
The ribbon is Olive and Eggplant, with a couple of pewter Brads to finish it off. The cutter kit made the cool edges.
And finally, here is a GREAT card using the super sweet set, Merry and Bright from the mini catalog. I Used Sky Blue, Whisper White, Certainly Celery, and Wintergreen Printed cs. The snowman was stamped in Black StazOn and colored with blender pens and attached with the silver elastic cording to the wide Celery Grosgrain ribbon. The scallop punch and 1 3/8" circle punches put it all together!
WAAAAAAAAAAAAAY CUTE!!!
