Well, I am getting an early start…I was in my stamp room just before 5 this morning! I was lying in bed awake with my head filled with ideas that I wanted to tackle before my card club meets today…and I even have the projects planned already! :) So, one of those things was to post to my blog…so here goes…
Here is a great card that is based on one I recieved in a swap…just altered a bit! We also made this card in my super simple card class. The daisy #2 die was used for the big shot as well as some jumbo naturals brads, the "thanks so much' is from trendy trees and the wide chocolate ribbon is perfect. I "eyeballed" the holes that I poked around the daisys, too. The colors are Naturals Ivory, Summer Sun, and Kraft.
This cool card was done by my upline, Tami. She used the Sweet Centers set and the Cast-a-spell printed paper. The treat cups add such an adorable twist–I wasn't really into the concept, but now I have seen some REALLY cool stuff done with them–I love it!
THe cool part about this is if you don't have to rip the card open to get at the treats…if you pull the scallop circle "tab" it opens the treat "chamber'! HOW COOL IS THAT???
Here is a cool card that I recieved in a swap–the card is a "business sized" card–3 3/4 x 8 1/2". The printed paper is from the Cast-a-spell pack. The BEAR is so stinking cute…again a thing I wasn't sure I was going to really "be into" but of course I've seen so many super cute things that I can hardly stand it! :) The Bear die was used along with the Kooky Spooky die. They all come together super easily, so it is really fun to play with the pieces you can die cut! Look for more of this in the future…these dang bears are addicting! 🙂
Have a great day!
🙂 Dena
I see lots of possibilites with the Thanks So Much card. Thanks for sharing.
