Global Design Project Guest Designer!

I am incredibly honored to be asked to be the Guest Desginer at the Global Design Challenge this week!  And I absolutely love the sketch challenge that they have created there!  It is adorable and so versatile!  I am pretty sure I will be coming back to it later in the week!

I am so thrilled with how my card turned out, too!  The colors are really vivid against the black stripes and the little bit of sparkle just makes this card happy!

I used the Picture Perfect stamp set and I love the extra dimension that the triple stamping adds to this beautiful flower!  The 3 layers just give it so much depth, it is hard not to fall in love with it!  Add the contrast of the black stripes and print of the Typeset DSP, and the Stitched Satin Ribbon and it all works together so nicely!

Gather your supplies:

• 1/2 sheet (cut the "long" way) of Crumb Cake
• 3 1/2 x 4 3/4" striped paper
• 3 3/8 x 4 7/8" black
• scraps vanilla
• Blushing Bride, Calypso Coral, Watermelon Wonder, Pear Pizzazz, Old Olive, Mossy Meadow, and Black Archival pads
• 2" circle punch (with typeset DSP)
• Wink of Stella
• Gold thread
• banner punch (for greeting flag)

It is hard to photograph the Wink of Stella's effect–but it is just so gorgeous!  It is hard not to use on everything!  I still think that they should make it for cosmetic use, as well!  You know I am a big fan of versatility!
