This is an easy one!!  I love the Global Design Challenges!!  This week's theme is Christmas and I have been up to my eyeballs getting ready for all my Christmas Classes!!

Beautiful Poinsettia using Stampin Up's Reason for the Season and the Festive Flower Builder Punch

My photo does not even come close to showing the true beauty that is this card-it is really lovely in person!  It shimmers!  I started with some gorgeous printed paper, Season of Cheer, and I love the colors!  I used Soft Sky cardstock (just a few scraps I had laying around) and some Pear Pizzazz for the leaves.  The Card itself is Mossy Meadow.

I Crumpled the leaves and added some pearls in the center. I thought it was kind of a fun departure from the usual looking poinsettias I've been making.  If you would like to see my trick for creating perfect poinsettias every time using the Festive Flower builder Punch, check out this video:

I used the Sparkly Seasons Thinlits for the Falala in Silver Glimmer Paper. The other cool thing I did with this card, is I spritzed it with my Vanilla Shimmer Smooch spray (we used to carry this in a few colors).  I love the look of it and think it adds to the shimmer.

The blue poinsettia is stunning and I don’t think photos can ever capture how gorgeous our glimmer is…but I just KNOW the sentiment is gleaming – just like your smile. You are so talented Dena and I am always so inspired by your creations, thanks for sharing.
And – thanks so much for playing along again to the Global Design Project, you rock. xo

  2. Right now, I wish I could attend your card class Dena. What a simply beautiful card. The blue, scrunched poinsettia looks stunning under the silver glimmer sentiment and the pearls are the perfect finish. Thanks for playing at Global Design Project this week.
