Prepare yourselves: I couldn't stop–and if you had not noticed yesterday's post, I may have mentioned that I kinda liked this challenge….Sooooooooo, here we go again!! Today's post works amazingly by combining the Global Design Challenge with the What Will You Stamp Challenge.
I still love the striped background, but I wanted to combine the vivid colors that Paula had used on her card. Here is what I came up with:
The background is watercolored (the video shows you how easy it is) and then I combined that with the bold black Bloomin Heart Thinlit for a striking look! Here is my color pallet:
I just love the vivid contrast! Then I brought 3 of the colors together with flowers from the thinlits (same color ink and paper: Melon Mambo, Watermelon Wonder and Blushing Bride).
Each flower is popped up with a dimensional and then I topped them off with a black flower (from my Tree Builder Punch) and a rhinestone, because what girl doesn't appreciate a little bling!?
I really love the look of this card and the contrast of the colors!! It is really fun!
I hope you enjoyed today's Global Design Project Card–I really can't say enough good things about my friends at the Global Design Challenge–go ahead and check them out and play along!! IT IS SO MUCH FUN!
