Global Design Challenge Awesomeness Part 2

GDP020 Wwys48_Bloomin Love

Prepare yourselves:  I couldn't stop–and if you had not noticed yesterday's post, I may have mentioned that I kinda liked this challenge….Sooooooooo, here we go again!!  Today's post works amazingly by combining the Global Design Challenge with the What Will You Stamp Challenge.

I still love the striped background, but I wanted to combine the vivid colors that Paula had used on her card. Here is what I came up with:

Stampin Up's Bloomin Love Bundle makes a gorgeous, vivid, card for anyone on your list! Video tutorial on my blog!

The background is watercolored (the video shows you how easy it is) and then I combined that with the bold black Bloomin Heart Thinlit for a striking look!  Here is my color pallet:

Fantastic Color Combo used to create a gorgeous card using Stampin Up's Bloomin Love Bundle. Video tutorial on my blog--check it out!

I just love the vivid contrast!  Then I brought 3 of the colors together with flowers from the thinlits (same color ink and paper: Melon Mambo, Watermelon Wonder and Blushing Bride).

Each flower is popped up with a dimensional and then I topped them off with a black flower (from my Tree Builder Punch) and a rhinestone, because what girl doesn't appreciate a little bling!?

  1. AMAZING!! I love this card Dena. Truth: I’m not usually so much a fan of pink but what you did here is tropical sunset meets pink lemonade sorbet and I absolutely love it! You’re making me want to experiment with these colors so thank you. I love the contrast between the black and the bright color too. Fabulously striking card! Thanks for playing along with us this week at What Will You Stamp!
