Hello everyone! I hope you are having a fantastic day! I have had the most fun today working on my projects for this week's Friday Quickie's Video! It is a great technique and it is a piece of cake!! The best part is it uses Ink–Stamps–and water! Perfect! All things you most likely have ready to go!
Look at how gorgeous this card is! I just love how great it turned out and I love the Black and Yellow contrast! SO pretty especially with the Typeset Printed paper!
Once you have a generous layer of ink on your cardstock, you can stamp with water on your stamp. I held my spritzer about 12" away and spritzed enough that there is a good amount of water on the image, but not too much that the water pools on the stamp (you'll lose the detail otherwise).
I love how awesome the Timeless Textures Stamp Set looks on the printed paper to create a gorgeous frame around the edges.
What a great card! I think this would be pretty fun in different color combos, too! I can see pinks, aquas, coral…all with the black base.
This set of cards started out as 3 scraps of white cardstock and I love how fun they turned out!! I used the following color combos:
Happy: Daffodil Delight, Tangerine Tango, Melon Mambo
Thanks: Pear Pizzazz, Old Olive, Garden Green
You Rock: Pool Party, Bermuda Bay, Pacific Point
This card is super fun, too! I used the set, I think You're Great along with the Bordering Blooms set (for the background) and the greeting is from One Big Meaning.
Colors are Wisteria Wonder, Rich Razzleberry and Blackberry Bliss
I used the set, Homemade For You along with the Crazy About You bundle. Colors are Pink Pirouette, Calypso Coral and Watermelon Wonder. Plus Silver Glimmer Paper!
And finally, this is the very first demo in my video. I used the Awesome Bunch stamp set and the colors were Pool Party, Bermuda Bay and Pacific Point. Super quick and easy!

very, very cool. does this work with other inks, such as TIm Holtz Distress Inks, or just Stampin’ Up ones? Thanks so much for sharing! (PS: found this post thru Pinterest!)
While I have never used Distress inks, Im pretty confident they will work fine! Good luck! Happy stamping, Molly!!
