Creation Station Blog Hop: The ABCs of Stampin

This month since it is back to school for so many, we are celebrating the basics of stamping and one of mine is EMBOSS RESIST with WATERCOLOR!

In my first card, I used the set, You Deserve This to create this fun watercolored background!  

Gather Your Supplies:

• 1/2 Sheet Daffodil Delight
• 3 5/8 x 4 7/8 Emerald Envy
• 3 1/2 x 4 3/4" Watercolor Paper
• White Embossing Powder, Heat Tool and Embossing Buddy
• Aqua Painters
• You Deserve This Stamp SEt
• Versamark, Crushed Curry, Emerald Envy, and Tempting Turquoise Ink Pads
• Eclectic Clips
• Crushed Curry Mini Chevron Ribbon

The image is stamped in Versamark and heat embossed with White Powder.  I used Crushed Curry, Tempting Turquoise and Emerald Envy to color the background with my aquapainters.

I embellished it with an eclectic clip and some mini chevron ribbon. It turned out great, don't you think?!

For my second card, I wanted something a bit more "fancy" so I pulled out the Graceful Garden Stamp set–Isn't this rose gorgeous?! I love the look!

Gather Your Supplies:

• 1/2 Sheet Pear Pizzazz
• 4 x 5 1/4" Printed Paper (Petal Garden DSP)
• 3 5/8 x 4 7/8 Rich Razzleberry
• 3 1/2 x 4 3/4" Watercolor Paper
• Soft Sky, Pear Pizzazz, Rich Razzleberry, and Elegant Eggplant and Versamark ink pads
• Gold Embossing Powder, Embossing Buddy, Heat tool
• Graceful Garden Stamp Set
• Natural Gold Trim
• Aqua Painters

This time I embossed in Gold and watercolored with Soft Sky, Pear Pizzazz, Rich Razzleberry and Elegant Eggplant.

Stunning, isn't it?!
