This month's theme is LOVE and I am so excited to share some fun projects with you!!

Easy Valentine Decor using a few supplies and a little watercolor! Details and supplies on my blog with more ideas!

First of all, I thought it would be fun to have a little framed decor to put up for Valentine's Day.  I usually am kind of over decorating at this time of the year–after the Holidays I am sort of decorated out–but this is a small little thing to put up for something pretty!

This project could not be simpler–it is a frame I bought at Ikea.  It holds a 5 x 7 photo.  I used some of the Typeset printed paper and a few punched hearts using the Sweetheart Punch and some watercolor paper.  I added a strip of the stripes (still same Typeset DSP) and then wanted to color a heart.

I used Melon Mambo and Calypso Coral for the heart.  I also used some gold metallic thread behind the heart and hand-wrote the saying, Love is All You Need.  I thought it was pretty cool!  All the hearts are popped up except the smaller ones (punched with the Itty Bitty Accents Punch Pack) in Gold Glimmer.

Simple and pretty!

For the next frame I used the same background paper and this time I diecut a large heart with my retired Hearts Framelits (SHHHHHH!) in watercolor paper. Any heart shape would do! Watercolored it with Calypso Coral and Melon Mambo.

I added the Gold Glimmer Sweetheart punch and several small hearts and the Hello thinlit in Basic Black using the Crazy About You Bundle.  The sentiment ties it all together!  Super fun and quick for a little decor!

The best part is it is quick and easy to put together!

My Greatest Adventure card using Stampin Up's Going Global Stamp Set and World Traveler Embossing Folder. Details and more photos on my blog!

This card is super awesome!!  It uses the Going Global stamp set, World Traveler Embossing folder, some more of the Typeset DSP, watercolored heart and the 2" circle punch.  So easy and quick!  This card actually came from the heart–I was playing with different colorings for the frame from above.  I liked this one (Pool Party, So Saffron, Calypso Coral and Pear Pizzazz) but it wasn't as vivid (or valentiney as I wanted it to be for the frame) so I figured I would see what else I could do with it!  I remembered the heart from this set and it was the most perfect saying!!  I punched the globe with the 2" circle and added t to the embossed card.

The paper at the bottom is from the Typeset DSP–there is a sheet that is an old map and these were like the markings on the edge of the map–perfect for the "empty" space since the folder is oriented in the other direction, it only embossed part of my card.  The DSP covers the gap!

Last but not least, I added the crochet trim at the top!  That's it!  Now who to give it to??????  I am thinking my amazing husband, Andy! The sentiment is perfect!  I have been so fortunate to travel the world with him–what a dream come true!  He is truly my greatest adventure!  I can't imagine life without him!  We've been to many places in the world together and I cannot wait until we go on our next adventure in May–on a Mediterranean Cruise!  Yippie!!!

  1. Amazgeous, that’s you. You make amazing and gorgeous projects. It’s a new word I made right here on the spot and it’s just for you because you are AMAZGEOUS! I didn’t want to say gorgzing because that would sound like I think you eat too much, so amazgeous is what it’s gonna be. Smiles my friend, Ebeth
