Welcome to The Creation Station Blog Hop! I am so excited to have you join us today! Thank you so much for stopping by–whether this is your first stop or you just came from the LOVELY Nicole's Blog, I am glad you are here!
Our theme this month is Framelits to Die For–with that play on words, I should be making something with Halloween stamps/framelits, but I got out the Halloween Scenes Edgelits and all I could see was Christmas! So here you go:
Isn't it pretty? I just love how soft and light it is–and the shimmer from the Wink of Stella is PERFECT!
Gather Your Supplies:
- 1/2 Sheet of Whisper White, plus 4 x 5 1/4" panel and a 3 7/8 x 5 1/8" panel (for diecutting)
- Scrap of Soft Sky
- Scrap of Real Red
- Soft Sky pad
- sponge
- Halloween Scene Edgelits
- Seasonal Frame Thinlits (from Clearance Rack!)
- Vellum (I cut my piece to be 6 x 8 so that it would cover the background area.
- Tree Builder Punch
- Wink of Stella
Diecut the Rectangle (from the Seasonal Frame Thinlits) from the Vellum to create a Stencil for sponging and stamping on the larger white panel.
Want more ideas with those Seasonal Frame Thinlits? Check out this one and this one for some awesome inspiration!
I love the shimmer–I put it all over the tree that I cut from the smaller white panel. TIP: run the tree through your big shot sideways to get the best cutting results!
I just love how this card turned out–simple and pretty!

You are so clever, Dena. That’s a WOW card. Your camera picked up that sparkle of Wink of Stella so well I thought you had cut that tree from white glitter paper. I never saw Wink of Stella show up so good on anything online. You could use that tree for Valentines Day with hearts too.
Great stamp bundle.
Gorgeous card, and you are a day-brightener! Always love your videos.
Another beauty, Dena. So peaceful and serene. Thanks for sharing.
You are very welcome–glad you like it!
You beat me to the punch by using the spooky tree on winter. My next thought is using it as the whomping willow at Hogwarts. Thanks for all the inspirations.
Thank you so much, Barb!!
