Welcome to The Creation Station Blog Hop! Whether you are stopping by from the lovely Sara's Blog, or this is your first stop, I am just thrilled to welcome you to The Creativity Cave! This month our theme is Boxes, Baskets and Bags, oh my! And I have to say this is a little outside my comfort zone! I am a card kinda gal! HOWEVER, having said that, as soon as I saw the theme, I knew what my project was going to be!
I was itching to get my Window Box Framelits out and create something awesome with them! I think I succeeded! The box is easy to put together, and it is something just gorgeous that can be used for all sorts of fantastic things. I choose to combine it with my Succulent Garden framelits and create a gorgeous box for Mother's Day!
I created a succulent using the Succulents framelits–SO beautiful!!! I sponged some color on the center two flowers after looking up some actual succulents online (Let's just say I'm not an expert! )
The succulent just sits on top of some treat bag shredded filling. I thought about using moss, but since I don't have any–I settled on this! 🙂 I added the sentiment (from the Oh So Succulent stamp set) and adhered it to a tooth pick and stuck it in!
The box itself is decorated with some stamping and ribbon. SO PRETTY! Do you like it? It is actually going to be one of the projects we make at my A DAY IN THE CREATIVITY CAVE event on Sat. March 11th! There is still room to join us locally or order a box to go–check out my online classes here for more details!
Isn't it gorgeous?!?!?!? I really love how it turned out!
Of course I had to make a card to match (that is, after all, my strong-suit!) So I die cut the box top details onto my card front panel plus 2 each of the 3 smaller flowers from the succulents framelits. Simple and pretty and coordinated! :)

I love the way you combined the Delicate Details stamps and ribbon to make a border for your Window Box.
Awesome box and card, Dena. Now I want that stamp set and dies. Do a video on making the Succulents and how you stamped the lace around the box. Beautiful project and colors used.
