Come Join Us for Card or Scrap Club

Hi everyone,

I hope you are staying cool in the heat wave we seem to be having…I think my kids actually melted a little yesterday when they were playing outside! 🙂

Tonight I've got my Card Club going at 5pm or 7pm and Thursday is my Scrapbooking Club at 10am or 7pm.  We are making some AMAZING cards if I can say tonight and I would love for you to join us!  Thursday we've got a fabulous choice of Scrapbook pages (you make a 2-page 12×12 spread and there are a couple of options for you to choose from!)  If you are interested in joining us, please let me know–and best of all if you are not local and would like to take part in the fun, you can!  If you can't make it to club, you won't miss out on the projects–so contact me for more information!

Here are some cards to inspire you…

My dear friend and fellow demonstrator, Chari made this card.  It uses the sets, In a Word and Itty Bitty Bits from the Summer Mini catalog.  Colors are Pumpkin Pie, Night of Navy and Crumb Cake.  The printed paper is from the Travel Journal paper also from the Summer Mini catalog.  The Letters were diecut from the Timeless Type Sizzlet Alphabet. Very cute!

This awesome card was done by my friend Liz.  She used the Pedaling Past stamp set and the Island Oasis Printed paper from the Mini catalog.  The Wide Oval was used with a couple of scallop oval punches to create the fun layered look.  Liz was an Artisan Award Winner.  She is truly an amazing artist and I am feeling pretty lucky that she shares cards with me when we swap…I often feel "I'm not worthy" of her impressive work! 🙂

Well, here is something I actually made (don't worry, I copied it from something I saw on a display board at a Stampin Up Event.  I of course tweaked it (I like to Copy and Improve)…. :)  The stamps are from Awash with Flowers and I used my cut up embossing folder to create the dots.  Love it!  Colors are Crumb Cake, Basic Black, Whisper white, Bashful Blue, Pumpkin Pie, and Real Red.

This adorable card is one I recieved in a swap and uses the set, Bouquet Bunch.  It is adorable!  Colors are Rose Red and Pumpkin Pie with the Island Oasis printed paper.  The Modern Label Punch was used with the greeting which is from the set, Teeny Tiny Wishes.  That is it for now…more later!
