TGIF FEB Challenges-006

So I was excited to see some great challenges this week on my favorite challenge sites–and this card fit the bill for all 3 of them!! I love it because it is just adorable and super simple!

Simple and gorgeous card using Stampin Up's Balloon Builder Stamp set

The stamping couldn't be simpler–Balloon Builder–and 2 ink pads–Real Red and Basic Black.

The string is actually from Balloon Celebration because the string in the Balloon Builders was defective in my set. I had pulled it out for the first time to make this card today.  But, come Monday, I'll call Stampin Up and let them know.  They will send a replacement at no charge, because that's how they roll!  They stand behind the products we sell and I love that about them!  I'll have a replacement by the end of the week!

Back to my card–to make it gather your supplies:

  • 1/2 sheet real red cardstock
  • 4 x 5 1/4" basic black
  • 3 7/8 x 5 1/8" whisper white
  • Red and Black Pads

Easy Peasy! This is truly a simple card, but I love how adorable it is and sometimes less is more!  Which brings me to my next card:

FMS Final 220-001

Gorgeous in shades of blue card using Stampin Up's Endless Thanks and Perfect Pairings Saleabration Sets.

So this card is for a sketch challenge that I just love–the colors are fantastic together and the simplicity of it is awesome!  I used the set, Endless Thanks, one of my favs and combined it with the Sale-a-bration set, Perfect Pairings.  Simple and pretty!  To be honest, when I first saw the sketch, I was not sure it was going to be easy.  When you look at it with an eye that is not totally literal, it is easy to get the creative juices going!

Simple and pretty–did I say that already?  I was serious! 🙂

Now as I looked at it, I couldn't help but think, I could jazz it up just a bit:

A few punches with the Tree Builder Punch and some Rhinestones.  It really punches the card up!
