Back to reality: Stampin Up trips never make it easy!

Hi girls,
Well, we are back in action at home here!  We pulled up around 8 last night and unpacked about half and gave up!  I am a flurry of activity today getting back into the swing of things!!  It is nice to be back home and sleep in my bed, but it is always so hard to leave the magical dream land of a Stampin Up event!!  I always love seeing my Stampin Up Family from the demonstrators I've become friends with across the country and Canada to the members of the Stampin Up home office, many of which I have truly become friends!  It is also difficult to leave the magic of being surrounded by 1500 women and men who truly get you (stamping-wise that is!)  It really is wonderful!

I am excited, too because this is our 25th Anniversary year and we are celebrating the year with the theme, MAKING A DIFFERENCE for 25 years, and it really is what our company is all about.  No more evident than when we look back at all the things we have done as a company and what our group has done here at home.  I am so proud that we have made a difference in so many lives whether it is a customer of mine who told me that Stamping has truly helped her move through the tragic loss of her son, or another demonstrator in my group who told me I was her "New Year's Resolution" to bring more fun into her life, to making literally THOUSANDS of cards for the troops over the years to helping a demonstrator this fall who has fallen on tremendously difficult times.  We all are making a difference and I'm so proud of that–even if it is nothing more than sending a card to brighten the day of someone who needs it–and we all need it!  Thanks for being part of this tremendous journey…Imagine what we can do in the next 25 years!

Well, enough gush…here is a little inspiration:

Here is a cute card that we made in my last Stamp Your Art out class…I thought it was the right amount of spring for a cold morning like today!

I used the Floral District Designer series paper, Summer Silhouettes Stamp set with the Sweet Escentuals greeting set, a little Daffodil Delight Taffeta ribbon, the 2 1/2" circle punch and the scalloped ribbon border punch.  Colors are Baja Breeze, Lucky Limeade, Rich Razzleberry, So Saffron and Whisper White.

Come back for more tomorrow!
