Well, this is my third attempt to write this message….Typepad and I are not getting along particulairly well today!!!! I am home and refreshed from an amazing trip to Denver with my good friend and recruit, Deb! We had a FABULOUS time at convention and I wanted to share some of the amazing fun we had!! We had 5 glorious days in Denver….no kids…..no husbands….no cooking…what a dream!! Here we are on our first day…don’t you admire the lovely "self" photography!?! We were on our way to start swapping…one of my favorite parts of Stampin Up Events! I only brought about 750 or so things to swap….Now don’t get too excited–only about 600 of those were mine! 🙂 hee heee….
On our first night they had a pj party for everyone–imagine 3000 women stampin in their pj’s–Andy was intrigued until I mentioned the super cute full length cotton pj’s that we could buy there… 🙂
We had a great time stamping the make and take projects that they had for all of us to do–and they gave us WHOPPERS, too! YUM! 🙂
We met up with my friends from California (where I first signed up with Stampin Up). We learned a bunch of new techniques that night and it was lots of fun!
I must tell you this was one of the best conventions ever and I am so excited because I have soooooooo many great ideas to share with you all—what a blast! This is where I draw a lot of my creativity, excitement and love of stamping from!!
Just one more goofy pic for you…then STAMPING!
This is me and my swaps…. 🙂 Did you notice my cool caribbean shirt….I never had a chance to make my "COOL CARIBBEAN FOREVER" sign…I am certain it would have gone over well!! 🙂
Now onto stamping…. Did I mention that I swapped about 600 cards?? Wanna see some???
Here they are…and check out the photo albums along the side for more!!!

She also uses the Turqoise Grosgrain, the Photo Corners Punch, Fairytale Ribbon Originals, and Bold Brights Brads. VERY CUTE!!! This set is really fun!
This cool card is done with Baroque Motif and Hugs and Wishes. The colors are Soft Sky and Blue Bayou and Old Olive. It also uses the Key Tag punch and 1/2" circle punch, and ticket corner punch. The leaves are made from one of the other images in the stamp set that is kind of an emblem–just cut apart–very cool!
Have a great day and watch for more updates soon including a new class list!!!!!
Yes, I’ll agree that Convention was awesome. I must say that Dena is a Swapping Machine and has some GORGEOUS samples for inspiration!!! I encourage others to sign up and go to Convention and see what it’s all about. What’s better than being in a room with thousands of other women (and a few men) that are as obsessed with stamping as you are?
Stamp On Sisters!!! Deb
I’m not a demonstrator — can I attend Convention? It seems likely a powerful way to invest in our inner creative selves; I need to do that much more than I have been!

Hi, Dena. Loved seeing the pictures. Glad you had a good time. I will miss club, but will get to classes.
