Hi everyone,
What a day it has been! With butterflies in my stomach (okay, I was totally naucious), my good friend and roomate, Chari and I headed to the awards booth. I knew I had awards for sales and recruiting and the cruise, but that is where they also whip out the "special bags" which mean you have won one of the "BIG AWARDS" for the nighttime ceremony that calls you up individually in front of 5600 other demonstrators…and guess what? I GOT ONE!!!! I totally cried and was soooooooooooooo happy!!! This is a huge deal–I will get an additional trip (beyond my Hawaii trip) and a cash award and of course this beautiful leather bag. This has been a true DREAM of mine for a few years now and I am just beyond words that it finally happened!!! Tomorrow night is the ceremony where I find out where I placed and in which category (there are several)…I’ll keep you posted!!
Here is when I watched my SAM (my Stampin Up rep at the home office that helps me run my business) go behind the curtain to get the bag….I screamed and about 30 ladies behind me in line screamed for me….actually I am not sure I screamed–I think I cried mostly!!
I am so excited–I have hardly let my bag down since I got it this morning!!
This is me calling Andy–I was so excited and to his credit he was excited for me–though I really don’t think he totally gets how big this is for me!!
So, THANK YOU so much ladies–each of you has helped me realize my dreams and I am so thankful to have this opportunity!! Last year our theme was Dream Big, I did and wow, that dream came true!! I am just SO VERY EXCITED, I can’t even tell you!!

Congrats Dena! Way to go. You derserve it and enjoy every minute of convention! I know how fun that is! You do an awesome job and now it shows!
YAY!!!!!! I’m very happy for you, and know how hard you’ve worked to get this far. Enjoy that stroll across the stage!!! Smile BIG… it will be a picture worthy of framing and placing in the classroom. 🙂
Have fun at Convention, wish I was there. I know everyone can’t wait to see the new catty, swaps and ideas you bring home with you.

I happened upon your blog thru my upline and coincidentally realized you and I are in the same swap. What a small world 🙂 (5/2/08, you posted my card – the pink and green, trifold, faux flwr with scallop circle punch, Be Happy set).
Anyway, it was exciting to see that you earned a spot in Founder’s Circle! That’s sooo exciting!!! And talk about small world again, I’m pretty sure I saw you getting your bag at the awards booth because there was sooo much screaming and excitement at the booth. Of course, at the time I didn’t know it was you 🙂
