My favorite thing to do is to create fun, new, alternative projects using the kit and this month's stamp set is AWESOME and makes some amazing projects!

So I wanted to make a set of cards that coordinated–and I LOVE these cards!!  They were super quick and easy to make with just a few supplies!  Plus, I have a stepped up option as well!

Gather Your Supplies:

  • 1/2 sheet Lemon Lime Twist, Bermuda Bay and Berry Burst (8 1/2 x 5 1/2")
  • Scrap of Whisper White
  • Black, Lemon Lime Twist, Bermuda Bay, and Berry Burst Ink pads
  • 2 1/4" Circle Punch
  • Triple Banner Punch
  • Dimensionals

Stamp the background border image several times, off-set from one another and then punch the circle.  Add the coordinating color of "burst" images and add the sentiment of your choice on top in Black ink.  I added a little strip with the rest of the sentiment with the ends punched with the Triple Banner Punch. That's IT!  SO EASY!

Aren't these fun, happy, summer Colors?  LOVE it!

Next I wanted to step one up a bit, so I worked with Pool Party and added a scallop circle (from the Layering Circles Framelits), some Black Metallic Thread, rhinestones, and spritzing with the Black Marker.

  1. I probably shouldn’t pick favorites, but I think I love these cards the best out of this month’s hop! The colors pop, they seem fairly simple to re-create, and I can actually see myself making and sending these cards 🙂 Thanks for sharing!

  4. Amazing Dena! These are so simple but so striking. My fave is of course the stepped up one (but I love them all).
