Welcome to the A Paper Pumpkin Thing Blog Hop! I am so excited to have you stop by The Creativity Cave and enjoy some inspiration using this month's Paper Pumpkin Kit, Layered Leaves! Whether this is your first stop or you have just joined in from the AMAZING Jennifer's Blog, I am just thrilled to have you here!
Paper Pumpkin is Stampin Up's Monthly Subscription Service which delivers a kit to your door each month that can be completed in 30 minutes and includes everything but a pair of scissors! It is so much fun and the best part is I provide you TONS of inspiration for your kit. Whether it is after you've made your projects and want to do more, or if you want to change up the kit project's, I've got you covered! Are you ready to join the fun? You can register here, and don't forget, you'll get 15-20 additional project tutorials each month from me, when you subscribe through The Creativity Cave!
I created two cards–this first one is a little bit on the simple, and more masculine side. It was a piece of cake and uses some of the kit materials plus a couple extra items:
Gather Your Supplies:
- 1/2 Sheet Cajun Craze
- 4 x 5 1/4 Chocolate Chip
- 3 7/8 x 5 1/8 Crumb Cake
- 3/4 and 1" Circle Punches
- Crumb Cake Ink
- September PP Kit (Layered Leaves)
- Linen Thread
I really think this simple card is perfect for a variety of occasions, including masculine cards–just change up the sentiment to fit your needs!
My Second card features more of the diecut pieces from the kit and includes a bit of a brighter, happier color scheme!
Gather Your Supplies:
- 1/2 Sheet Calypso Coral
- 4 x 5 1/4" Crumb Cake
- JUST a teensy bit smaller than 4 x 5 1/4" Peekaboo Peach for a crazy thin layer 😉
- Peekaboo Peach and Calypso Coral ink
- Gold Natural Trim
- Gold Metallic Thread
- Dimensionals
- Calypso Coral Marker
Isn't this fun!!?? The sentiment is from the set and I think it looks equally good in these fun colors as it does in the Crumb Cake/fall-like color scheme!
